Just wanted to show off my new necklace. Simply called Amber Flower.

I did a Demo for my jewelry making class and got a lot of good responses. Hopefully that means I will have students.

Tomorrow is my class: 10am.

Micromovements February

Micromovements:
I have accomplished a few of the things on my list from last time. But there are new things. I have new projects that have sparked my inspiration over the past 2 weeks.

I Have:
~ Participated in a Class Preview at Michaels-showcasing the various jewelry designs that are available for the Sunday classes I teach.

~ Added pricing to my niseymyers.com site.

~ Started a donation project: donating 35% of my jewelry sales to charity. I have also promoted this in several forums.

~ This has brought about 3 sales suddenly. Great!!

~ Planned to host my own art show.

~ Mailed out flyers about my future newsletter for New Orleans.

I Need To:

~ Design newsletter

~ Start the intro and choose initial pictures for newsletter

~ Brainstorm locations for art show

~ Research technicalities of hosting art show

Finally flipped the Calendar

I realized earlier today that I still hadn't flipped the calendar to February. This is all going so fast! I started my savings this week. I left my credit card and unnecessary cash at home, only bring $10 with me for work each day.

I have two confirmed jewelry sales and one "soft" (or unconfirmed) sale. This little jump in sales is a result of my NEW Donation Project. (yes, another donation project)

JEWELRY CONTRIBUTION: I am donating 35% of each jewelry sale to New Orleans organizations. The same 3 as CafePress.

New Orleans Chapter of: Habitat for Humanity & United Way. And the Faubourg Marigny Improvement Assoication.

I have mailed out several flyers about my upcoming newsletter to some New Orleans businesses. Also, I have interviewed a lady from Katrina's Angels--an organization helping victims of Katrina.

As you can see, I am quite busy. This is a good thing. Now if I could only win the lottery so I could devote ALL my time to this. *~oh well~*
